I highly recommend Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing as well as its direct sequel.Missions in the Sonic the Hedgehog series are additional objectives aside from the main quests that appears in their respective games. If you're playing on Wii however you may have issues with certain control schemes but that's about it.įor the most part, the Riders games were good for their time, but these days we have better options in terms of Sonic-themed racing titles. I can't recall any trouble spots as far as track design goes. The difficulty in Zero Gravity is reduced all around. There's also a track where chunks of the road start falling off with every new lap. Whenever I did the single-player campaign, I'd always have to redo some of the later stages, particularly the desert one. Certain shortcuts are locked behind progression gates, and the AI has no issues nailing them consistently when they want too. The original Riders is the most difficult, for sure. Hard to believe it's been 13 years since Riders 1 and 11 years since its sequel, Zero Gravity. Figured some people here would appreciate input from someone who played the game(s) back when they were new.
